Craft project

I have been looking for a cute way to store the girl’s hair clips. I was at a cute store and saw a frame like this there. When I got home in my head I figured out a way to make it. The best part is I already had all the materials to make it. It is so easy to make.

Kaitlyn loves Rock Band

Kaitlyn is just like her dad. They could play for hours.

Wedding Anniversary

We celebrated our wedding anniversary on August 20th. We went to dinner at P.F. Chang’s and we had tons of fun. Andrea and Jon watched the girls for us. Thank you, Andrea and Jon for watching the girls. After dinner the waitress brought us fortune cookies and these were our fortunes. Do you notice anything funny about our fortunes? We got the same fortune. We don’t feel special or maybe we really needed to hear this fortune.
These pretty pearls Brandon got for me for our anniversary.

Cooking with Kaitlyn

Nathan in the cute birthday shirt we got him, he looks so cute in it.

Sleepy Jill. I don't think she knows about this picture, but she will soon!

Sav's handprint

This is Brent my good friend from work. For Sav’s 1st birthday he bought her a set of 5 handprint kits. For the first 5 years of her life I can do her handprints. I love this gift and it is a wonderful keepsake. Today our family was at Grandma and Grandpa Sperry’s house and Andrea was there too. Andrea helped me do Sav’s handprint and it turned out really cute. Savannah did really well with putting her hand in the plaster.

This is the set of 5 handprint kits

This is the top of one of them

Andrea and Sav right before we put Sav's hand in the plaster

The handprint isn’t perfect, but I don’t care. I think it turned out pretty well.

Babysitting

8/14/2009
I watched Warren and Garryn while Jeannine went to the doctor.

Garryn was so scared of Sammie. He would just see Sammie and cry, I felt so bad for him.

The few times I have watched Warren at my house this has been his favorite toy, the kitchen set.

Bloody Finger

8/11/2009
I’m always hurting myself, because I’m clumsy. I was using a stake knife to open up the plastic on the cheese, and missed the plastic, and cut my finger. I ran to the sink and put my finger under the water. Kaitlyn came over to make sure I’m ok and also to kiss my finger. It didn’t hurt but seeing all the blood scared me.

Watching Movies

Sammie

8/11/2009
Kaitlyn loves to watch movies in Mommy and Daddy’s bed. She loves drinking juice while watching movies. Right now her favorite toy is her teddy bear you can see the bear on top of her.

Jumper

My mom got this jumper for me when I was serving a mission. I still love the jumper, but it used to be a lot longer, I decided to shorten it. I like it a lot better.

Kaitlyn’s haircut

Yesterday Kaitlyn got a haircut, Jeannine cut her hair. 71/2 inches were cut off. I love her new haircut. Her hair looks fuller and she looks older.

Back to school supplies

8/4/2009
We went to Wal-Mart today and we bought some back to school supplies. Each girl had to have their own stuff. They aren’t good with sharing.
