This week I will be turning 30 years old, crazy! Today my family had a birthday party for me, my brother in-law Jayson, and Jayson’s brother Dustin. The party was at Jeannine’s house, we had a lot of fun. Amber made this crown for Kaitlyn.

Aunt Jeannine made this shirt for Savannah. She made it out of a shirt she already had. I think it is so cute. She wore it to church today.

Before

We have had this couch since we have been married and it is starting to show some wear and tear on it. I have wanted to pay someone to come and fix it, but at the same time I didn’t want to pay someone. Finally, I figured out a way I could fix it. The before picture I took didn’t turn out too clear. The padding was starting to show really bad. I took cross-stitching thread and sewed the cushion. It didn’t turn out professional looking, but overall I think I did a really good job, and the best part is I didn’t have to pay someone to fix it.

Kaitlyn got this at Pottery Barn Kid’s today. When Andrea was younger Marianne got her a toy similar to this one and Kaitlyn loves it. Every time we go to Grandma and Grandpa Sperry’s home Kaitlyn wants to play with it. The one that Andrea got is called ‘Happy Family.’ I don’t think this family has a name.

Activities while Daddy is away – Pottery Barn Kids

Today the girls and I went to the mall. We went to Pottery Barn Kids and Kaitlyn participated in the Barbie workshop. She had so much fun! This handbag is from the Barbie Workshop. They had the kids put stickers on the inside. It was a cute workshop.

Andrea and Nathan met us at the mall and hung out with us. It was fun hanging out with them.

After the Barbie workshop the girls played with the display toys. They did not want to leave the store.

She loved the display bed and she cried when I made her get out.

On the way home from the mall the girls fell asleep. I took pictures of them and Savannah’s picture didn’t turn out.

New Hair Cut

Today I had Jeannine cut my hair. It wasn’t that I didn’t love my long hair; I just need hair that doesn’t require a lot of time to do, and still looks good. I’m so busy and I would only do my hair once a month. I’m hopping the short hair will be a lot easier to do. Only time will tell.

Yesterday Brandon went to ID to visit his brother’s family. The girl’s miss their dad, so, I am trying to keep them busy. We went to the mall today and the girl’s played in the fountains. They had a lot of fun.

Savannah hardly ever poses for me. Today Kaitlyn would say, “Chubs” and she would smile for her, so, Kaitlyn got some cute pictures of her.

Time to get rid of toys

Look how messy it is, I can’t stand it. It’s time to go through the girls’ toys and get rid of a lot of them. They have too many. The toys I do want to keep but they don’t play with them any more or they are too old for them, I want to put them away in storage.

Smarty Pants!

My girls love to play in the bathtub and somehow water always ends up on the floor. For a little while now Savannah has been pouring water into this toy colander, and as you can image water goes everywhere.

Today, Savannah is playing with the colander again and I notice she puts a cup under it.

Labor Day Celebration

We celebrated Labor Day on Sunday, we had family over for a barbeque. Here is everyone that came to celebrate with us.

Forgive my family for looking so tired. Most Sundays’ after church we get in relaxing clothes and just relax, from our busy week we just had.
